Alpha Program Terms

Supplemental terms for participants in the Retirelens Alpha.

Effective Date: August 3, 2026

These Alpha Program Terms ("Alpha Terms") apply to your participation in the Retirelens Alpha program ("Alpha"). They supplement the Retirelens Terms of Service, which continue to apply. If these Alpha Terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these Alpha Terms control while you participate in the Alpha. Our Privacy Policy applies to information you provide during the Alpha.

1. What the Alpha Is

The Alpha is an early access program that provides access to Retirelens before general availability. In exchange for early access, we may ask you to provide feedback about your experience.

2. Eligibility and Access

You must meet the eligibility requirements in the Terms of Service, including being at least 18 years old and located in the United States. Access to the Alpha may be provided through an invitation, access code, registration process, or other method made available by Retirelens. We may change or discontinue an access method as the Alpha evolves.

3. No Fees During the Alpha

Alpha access is free. We do not collect payment information for Alpha access, and we will not charge you for Alpha participation without first telling you and obtaining your agreement. Access codes, if used, may be shared program codes rather than personal codes and may be changed or deactivated as the program evolves.

If Retirelens later offers paid services, Alpha participation will not automatically convert into a paid subscription without your affirmative agreement.

4. Feedback

You may provide suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about Retirelens through the feedback interface in the app or through other feedback methods we make available. You grant Retirelens a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback to develop, improve, and operate Retirelens without compensation to you. This right does not give Retirelens ownership of your personal information, uploaded documents, or planning data, which remain governed by our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

5. Alpha Software and Availability

The Alpha is a work in progress. Features may be incomplete, may contain errors, may change without notice, and may be added or removed during the program. Some features described elsewhere by Retirelens may not be available during the Alpha.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability during the Alpha. Alpha features, settings, and records may change as the product develops.

KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS. Do not use the Retirelens Alpha as the sole repository for wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, financial records, or other important documents.

6. Your Data During the Alpha

Our Privacy Policy applies during the Alpha. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use information you enter about your finances, estate, legacy, or other sensitive planning matters for targeted advertising. We may analyze product usage and feedback to operate, secure, troubleshoot, develop, and improve Retirelens, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Public Alpha

The Alpha may be publicly available or accessible to a broader group of users. Unless Retirelens separately identifies particular information as confidential, these Alpha Terms do not prohibit you from discussing the Alpha, posting about your experience, or sharing screenshots or reviews.

Please protect your own privacy and the privacy of others when sharing content publicly. Do not post screenshots or other materials that reveal personal, financial, estate, legacy, account, or other sensitive information belonging to you or another person.

8. No Emergency Service

Retirelens is not an emergency service. Do not rely on Retirelens to communicate or provide time-sensitive medical, legal, financial, incapacity, death, or end-of-life instructions. If you need emergency assistance, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.

9. Ending Participation

You may stop participating in the Alpha at any time by discontinuing use of the Alpha or closing your account where account-closing functionality is available. You may also contact Retirelens support for assistance.

We may suspend or end your participation, change access to the Alpha, or end the Alpha program at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. When the Alpha ends, we will provide information then available about continued access to Retirelens and any steps you may need to take. Alpha participation will not automatically convert into a paid subscription without your affirmative agreement.

10. Disclaimers

The Alpha is provided “as is” and “as available,” subject to the disclaimers and limitations in the Terms of Service. Retirelens provides planning, organizational, educational, and informational tools. Nothing in the Alpha is financial, investment, legal, tax, insurance, or medical advice.

Because Alpha features are still being developed and tested, you should independently verify important information and should not rely on the Alpha as the sole basis for financial, legal, medical, estate-planning, or other consequential decisions.

11. Contact and Feedback

Feedback should be submitted through the feedback interface in the Retirelens app or through another feedback method we make available. For general support, use the contact or feedback feature on our site.
